2005 Ford Focus ZX4
For 2005 model, Ford comes up with an all-new top performing sedan, the Ford
Focus ZX4. Although new to the line-up, this four-door sedan shares with other
2005 Ford Focus cars its new hood made of harder steel alloy, fenders, larger
headlamps with reshaped clear lenses and larger grille with new crosshatch pattern.
It has lower air intake and circular fog lamps that give it a different look on
the front. The Focus ZX4 is the only Ford Focus car with new taillamps and rear
bumper fascia.

The Ford Focus ZX4 prides itself with an impressive sporty look and top-notch
engine performance and excellent handling. The ST is equipped with 2.3 L 16-valve
Duratec 23, I-4 engine. It has a performance-tuned exhaust that helps produce
more horsepower (150 hp) and more torque (154 lb-ft at 4,250 rpm) than the Duratec
20. Its engine is perfectly matched with a 5 speed manual transmission. The shifts
are short and smooth although the clutch was stiff. But rest assured, it always
offers a pleasant drive.
A stiff four-wheel independent suspension provides the 2005 Ford Focus ZX4 with
smooth and stable drive. Enhancing the car's handling capabilities is a set of
Pirelli P205/50R 16 all-season redials wrapped over 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels.
Also available for this model is a set of 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS.
