The 2005 model offers a three-door hatchback design, the Ford Focus ZX3. It comes in three trim levels: S trim, SE trim and SES trim. The base S trim comes with manual driver's seat-height adjustment, split-folding rear seat, AM/ FM/ CD and 15" wheels. Additional features to the mid-level Ford Focus SE are: air conditioning, overhead console, AM/ FM/ CD/ MP3 players, dual power mirrors, power windows, power locks and remote keyless entry. The upper-level SES features a tilt/ telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel, audio controls on the steering wheel, fog lamps, tachometer, AM/ FM/ 6CD/ MP3 players and 16" alloy wheels.
 
Under the hood, you will find 2 L 4 cylinder gas engine, which generates 130 horsepower at 6000 rpm and delivers a torque of 129-lbs. This and the other engines new for the 2005 Ford Focus car is 32 percent cleaner than the previous year's low-emission engine line-up. Matching the 2005 ford Focus ZX3 engine is a 5 speed manual with overdrive transmission. This 2-wheel drive car has a gas mileage of 26 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
