2005 Ford Focus Review
Drive it and you'll understand why it "begs to be driven." 2005 Ford Focus is
another Ford masterpiece that speaks of Ford's renowned excellence from its external
features down to its interior, handling, suspension and powertrain. It specially
appeals to its buyers for its first-class design, powerful engine and reasonable
price.
Biggest change for this year is the new engine line-up, including a super-clean
Duratec 20E 130 hp engine. It is more powerful and more fuel efficient. The Duratec
20 engine offers 136 hp while the most powerful Duratec 23 engine, which is standard
in the Focus ST, generates 151 horsepower. While these engines balance performance
and economy in a vehicle, it also virtually eliminates fuel evaporation.
Body Styles offered for 2005 Ford Focus are: the three-door ZX3 hatchback, the
four-door ZX4 sedan, the five-door ZX5 hatchback, and the ZXW wagon. The three-door
hatchback features a sporty look and is economical, practical and fun to drive.
Five-door hatchback makes it easy for rear passengers to get into the car. The
sedan is comfortable to drive while the wagon provides room for your cargos.
Subtle changes are noticeable on the exterior while there are more on the inside.
It retains its roominess and high roofline for headroom. Expect a more traditional
look inside the 2005 Ford Focus with the previous dash altered. The instrument
panel was restyled and the passenger areas are divided by two rectangular climate
control registers, the hazard switch and a shallow center stack.
Four colors are offered for the interior. Lighter shades for the lower portion
of instrument panel and door trim panels are used. Also offered are cloth and
leather upholstery. More exciting features await you in the 2005 Ford Focus. With
its practicality, style, performance and affordability, you will surely love this
car!
