2005 Ford Focus

The 2005 Ford Focus is offered in four models: a three-door hatchback, Ford Focus
ZX3; a four-door sedan, Ford Focus ZX4; a five-door hatchback, Ford Focus ZX5;
and a station wagon, Ford Focus ZXW. Except for the wagon, 2005 Ford Focus comes
in a base S trim level. For the mid-level and upper level trims, there are the
upgraded SE and the well-furnished SES. All 2005 Ford Focus models feature larger
wheels, bigger brakes and thicker stabilizer bars. Changes for this year include:
new headlamps, grille, front bumper, hood and front fenders. The Sedans feature
new taillights and restyled rear bumper.
Notable equipments found in the base model are CD player and seat-height adjuster.
On the next level, additional equipments such as air conditioning, power windows,
power locks, power mirrors and remote keyless entry are offered. The highest level
trim is completed with a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, fog lights, tachometer,
six-disc in-dash CD changer, 16-inch alloy wheels and steering wheel controls
for the sound system. Biggest change for this year is the engine line-up. A new
and powerful 2 L 136 hp Duratec engine gives life to this car. Also available
are the super clean Duratec 20 E 130 hp engine that eliminates fuel evaporation
and the most reliable Duratec 23 151 hp engine.
